Organic Landscaping Company Accepting New Clients
Coverage of OWM's expansion into Fairfield County — highlighting Jeff's mission to make organic, all-electric lawn care accessible and affordable for everyday homeowners.
Serving Fairfield County, CT since 2019
Quiet electric mowing, 100% organic yard treatments, and native plant gardens — powered by clean energy, rooted in two decades of environmental stewardship.
Our Services
Every service we offer uses all-electric equipment — no fumes, dramatically reduced noise, zero carbon monoxide on your property or in your neighbourhood.
Our most popular service. Battery-powered mowers cut cleanly and quietly — no exhaust, no noise complaints, no carbon monoxide. One battery rotation keeps our crew running all day.
No toxic chemicals on your soil, your children's play area, or your pets' favourite patch. Our organic feeding programs build living soil — not just green grass.
Purpose-designed gardens using plants native to Connecticut. Better for pollinators, better for local birds, lower maintenance, and genuinely beautiful all season long.
Electric blowers, zero fumes. We handle full seasonal leaf removal with quiet battery-powered equipment that won't disturb you, your neighbours, or the wildlife in your yard.
Custom-built, locally made raised beds delivered and installed. We also provide weekly planting and care — perfect when you're out of town or just getting started with backyard growing.
High-quality organic compost delivered and applied to top-dress lawns and renew flower beds. The most affordable way to dramatically improve your soil in a single visit.
Why Organic Ways & Means
Organic Ways & Means was founded in 2019 with a single proof of concept: that a professional lawn and garden company can run entirely on electric equipment, serve clients with the most exacting standards, and still be affordable.
We've proven it. Our crew runs all-electric mowers, blowers, and trimmers — no gas, no fumes, no carbon monoxide on your property. Combined with 100% organic treatments, you get a yard that's healthier for your family, your soil, and the wider ecosystem of Fairfield County.

Our Work
Weekly electric mowing paired with seasonal organic feeding for a Stamford family. Healthier soil year over year — the grass speaks for itself.
Full-season organic maintenance for a Greenwich estate — pool-side turf, garden borders, and hydrangea beds kept impeccable without a drop of synthetic chemical.
Complete autumn leaf removal for a New Canaan property — raking, blowing, and hauling with 100% electric equipment. Zero exhaust, dramatically reduced noise. The neighbours noticed.
Maintaining a coastal native meadow with electric equipment. Joe Pye Weed, goldenrod, and native grasses thrive along the waterfront — and the pollinator population grows every season.
"Jeff is exactly what I was looking for — reliable, respectful, and genuinely knowledgeable about what's good for the land. My lawn has never looked better, and knowing there are no chemicals near my kids makes all the difference."
About Jeff Cordulack
Jeff Cordulack founded Organic Ways & Means in 2019 with two goals: to prove that all-electric equipment is fully viable for professional lawn and garden companies, and to demonstrate that 100% organic landscaping can be done affordably — even for clients with the most exacting standards.
His background gives him a depth of ecological knowledge that most landscapers simply don't have. He spent 10 years with the National Audubon Society in Greenwich and 8 years at SoundWaters in Stamford — organisations dedicated to protecting the very ecosystems that surround Fairfield County properties. He also served as Executive Director of the Connecticut Chapter of NOFA, the Northeast Organic Farming Association, a nonprofit of more than 5,000 farmers, gardeners, and landscape professionals.
At home, Jeff maintains an organic household garden and lawn with his wife and three children. He volunteers as a Schoolyard Habitat Steward for local schools and chairs the Metro North chapter of Slow Food USA.
